The process will be completed in approximately two office visits. During the first visit, we will remove any decay from the natural tooth, and the second visit will be to place the permanent crown. During the first visit, a temporary crown will be placed while the permanent crown is being fabricated. While you are recovering, it is important to avoid chewing on the side with the temporary. If the temporary falls out between appointments, be sure to contact our office as soon as possible.
